I don't remember this being mentioned, but sounds a lot like what Tabula Rasa did.
When you have "auto-attack" it instantly becomes rolling the dice, which I thought divergence was trying to move away from. I can't imagine this being done properly. Combat should be kept twitch style.
Huxley is how I imagined a fps/mmorpg should be done (minus the crashing, bugs, unbalanced vehicles and classes). It focused solely on the fps combat, which was really quite well done, while also incorporating the rpg elements, that didn't make things too unbalanced for newer characters, but still allowed the higher level characters more choices in combat. My only "beef" with it, is that it didn't do the "mmo" properly (needed to be a sandbox style).
Of course, the amount of depth for the "MMO Mode" hasn't been disclosed yet. I fear it may be the death for divergence though.
